Most everyone knows Ronnie and Annette Watson (Holy Roller Wheels) or have most likely met them. If you have been to a rally or any biker event, Ronnie and Annette have been there for support and to share the love of Jesus Christ! They have personally been like a second mom and dad to me. They have always taken care of me when I was at any event by myself. Especially the CMA “Changing of the Colors” rally that I attended and would have been sleeping in a tent with no heat, had they not stepped in to make sure I was warm and dry when it was cold, wet and rainy! Well, they need our help now. Their house of 31 years burned to the ground this past week! They lost EVERYTHING! They have been living in a hotel since it happened.
David and Lesa Kimbrow of Warriors for Christ, who also have been so generous to me and countless others and have a heart the size of Texas, are organizing a benefit ride and luncheon to help raise support for Ronnie and Annette to help them buy food, clothing and all the essentials they need to function on a daily basis.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there! You don’t have to be a biker to come enjoy the food, music and fellowship!!! It is always like a family reunion when the bikers get together!!! PLEASE forward to everyone you know!!! See you there!!!

Sunday November 22nd Anthony Jones of Houston Texas
"The Potter and the Clay"
by Dot Behr/Associate Editor
Anthony Jones had a strong message beginning with - Jeremiah 18:1-6.
Jesus told Jeremiah to go to the potter's house and there He would cause him to hear His words. The potter had made something and seen that it was marred and took the same clay and made something new. (5) " Then the word of the Lord came to me saying: "O house of Isreal, can I not do with you as this potter?" says the Lord.
"Lord, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel!"
We must have the relationship with the Lord to see He is molding us and shaping us into what and who we are today. Just like parents and grand-parents teach their children manners and right and wrong. If we focaus on our situations we can't be focused on glorifying the Lord. God loves us so much He will reach out to us. He'll even use a non-believer to speak to us. As Bro. Jones sat in solitary confinement in prison, he cryed out to Jesus. He spoke to Him that it didn't matter if he had to spent the rest of his life in prison; as long as he had Him in his heart.
God heard his cry and sent people into his life to help him on his walk with the Lord. Bro. Jones wasn't even a christian at this point, he didn't know how to pray, even so God heard his cry.
Everyone must give our hangups to the Lord and by our faith He will take them from us. Our testimony will keep someone out of a situation or get them out of it. We stand in the gap for those who can't help themselves.
Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but it's end is the way of death" Think about it...We must hear the Lord talking to us and not the man of the world.

Tuesday Business Meeting - WFC 11/17/09
by Debbie Stewart
David Kimbrow announced that the closing on the Tin Top Property should take place this week. He said he was '...needing some men out there to help clean up and clear out ASAP...'
He also said that he couldn’t get over the conversation that he had with being called too churchy during the Bill Glass Prison Visits. He said he is going to keep doing what God put in his heart to do.
“All you need to do is take Jesus Christ in there (the prisons) and the rest is taken care of.”
Lisa said to put on the new WFC sign Biker fellowship “Gossip Free”.
“When we first started the church I never was one for finger pointing and worry about what everybody’s doing,” said David
“ If there is smoking at a smoke rock he will let God deal with that. We are going to stay focused, ” he said. He suggested if any one wants to gossip to you say to them lets pray about it right now. Then ask that person to start the prayer first.
Bob Price announced the newsletter that we can send to the inmates. The newsletter lets the inmates know who and what we are about. It will contain pictures that were taken during visits to the prisons. Also to let them know that we care.
God put on David’s heart for us to plant a seed to save a soul.
Greg Stewart prayed over the gifts. Someone said we needed to pray for Taco.
Lesa said we need to hold up Taco Brown in our prayers.

Pastor Jessie O'bannon; " You can be Somebody..."

Testimony by Jessie O’Bannon
Debbie Stewart
He said every song that was sung during the praise and worship was on Love.
'Do we truly know the God your singing to?' he asked.
Who is God. What is Love? Why do we take time to love each other?
Because God first loved us! God has pursued you first. God wanted you here. God said I know the number of hairs on your head.
He pursues a love relationship. God holds me. It’s not about you but about the Lord! Seek ye first the Kingdom of God…he says
But we’ve got it backwards.
God said listen to me. You have to be in love with God. He is in absolute love with you. We say we love but it’s such a habit.
We say I love you to someone and the next minute we’re talking about them.
Husbands and wives tell each other til do us part.
He said he tells his wife “one of us is dying” sometimes.
He said everybody says “Bad dog bikers” when they hear a motorcycle. Now when they hear sounds of motorcycles they will think about God! “I’ve never rode one bike I love em and love the sound. God speaks through people by circumstances and people will hear the bikes roar. Someone thinks of suicide but then hears a motorcycle and changes his mind.
God said where are you? God’s waiting on you. It’s freezing in this tent but the music made me move! If we don’t put God 24/7 there won’t be a church. If we don’t have a love relationship with God ours will fail too.
God said love the Lord with All your heart mind and strength. God wants our worries and fears. God will supply, I guarantee it.
With all your heart soul and strength, this is the single most important part of our life. Not getting to the top or our business. Goals and dreams can’t be before God! We have to step out of the ordinary, we have plan B.
I feel the Power! And God can take anybody to preach. I didn’t want to preach, I was running from church. I was partying and you all have heard that I’m stuttering, right? God can take any one with a handicap and use him.
But now, “I’ve got to preach! I’m excited, I could’ve had drugs and all that but I chose a love relationship. I took all the other stuff and chose to put it to the side.
If you put God first it will all get put in line. It’s not just stuck in money; the bills we will get paid!
God said we are the head not the tail. To be filled with it means to seek God with all your heart.
Pray for you first because we have thoughts running rapid and a battle field is in our head.
Take those thoughts captive and throw them into hell where they belong.
You can’t serve 2 masters. David I’ll let you preach on that. You’re going to be behind one and not the other. We get to the point where we serve money and not God.
God will bless you and pull you out but we come back down to earth; but his is life.
We have to battle and fight for it. We think we’re saved and now we will have no more battles and it’s in the tulips.
When we got saved we started a war. But now we have an army behind us. God saddles up a chariot and He is with us.
Oh man! Warriors! Wow I like it.
God treated you not for time but for eternity. Stop and think about it, when you think where Adam was walking along side of God and talking with Him!
He will ask us to come on in here good and faithful servant.
We want to get wrapped up into what God is doing and then we loose sight of what God wants. I don’t like church people I like real people. I don’t like churchy people. Get filled up if you want to shout or dance do it. Get filled up so you can bless others. Time, we don’t make time. It’s not a time problem we have but a love problem.
You all Love to ride bikes even take off work to ride. We’re gonna take time for what we want to take time for. It’s a love problem! Love has to be real. There is fake love. Love doesn’t kill real love, personal love...God has to be so personal that you say “I’m not going to go anywhere without you.
I can’t believe how a biker can ride without anything around you. But God wraps himself around you. I’m not riding alone I’m riding with Jesus! You don’t ride alone, preach alone, go to school alone.
You can be somebody. But let God let you be somebody “The Kings Kid”! (points to Pat)
Love can’t wait to speak to Him, Read His word.
God spoke to me. God wants to speak in my life the same way He wants to speak in yours. Somebody who loves somebody knows their voice. He said He wants us to know that god will speak to us through any circumstance. God spoke to Moses through a burning bush. People thought he was a basket case, Remember Moses in the basket. I want real and pure love, it can’t be broken. Some say I’ve been hurt over and over. They shut down and build a wall. If you want more from God give Him more today, your heart and mind. Give it to Him! David said “he was preaching to me” but the entire crowd raised and lifted their hands and said; "...to me...!"

Youth Break-Out Night Tuesday Nite
Youth Alive Drama Team - Pastor Daniel from Corner Stone
* Special Guest Appearance - Burning Bush *
by Dot Behr
What an eventfull night! We had first, Youth Alive from theGranbury Christian Temple.
Emily,Taylor,Dalton,Hannah,Chelsey,Randy and Josh. What an oustanding performance of sincrinized dance. Their Youth Director is Tammy, kudos to her!
Next up was the one and only BURNING BUSH! He has to be the most annointed young man I've ever met. He can get the kids on fire for God. He is all about the youth and not being ashamed of being a child of God. After some favorites like "Hootie Hoo" and "So You Want To Be a Gangster" he told a story about going to heaven and walking thru a passage of people kneeled in rows on either side of the pass and a bright light so bright you couldn't make out the image. As he walked the people were grabbing him and saying "Don't you remember me?" He wouldn't remember them but they would tell him how he had helped them in time of need. When finally reached the bright light he started to kneel but the figure lifted him up and hugged him. He was unable to look at the face of the figure at first, when he did...it was himself. He shouted "It's me!" But it was the Lord and He told him that He worked thru many, many people just like him. What an awesome story that kept us all on the edge of our seats. He gave the most powerfull alter call I think I ever heard. It made me want to give my life to the Lord all over again. After Steve gave the service over to Daniel, he, Lesa and David prayed with kids outside the tent. What a blessing.
Daniel was up next. He came to us from the CornerStone church here in Granbury. He spoke about having peace. Combined with just enough personal testimony and Phillipians 4:6-8 he brought an excellent example on how to have peace in your every day life.
David came up and offered the alter call to any and everyone with any needs. Several came up with illness, injuries and life difficulties. Praise our God who answers prayer!

'Church by Charlie'
Charlie gave an impassioned and heart-felt testimony of his and his families lives. He warned of the sins we face and those he committed himself. Calling his oldest son forward he described how his whole family followed his son to the alter with David Kimbrow. He warned of the times ahead and how we should be be prepared.
There were few dry eyes in the house as Charlie is quiet when he is quiet but he speaks from the heart when he talks.
Scripture Research:
Deuteronomy 32:8 "When the Most High divided their inheritance to the nations, When He Separated the sons of Adam, He set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the children of Israel."
Inheritance: Property or something earthly that is recieved from the passing of a relative...genetic characteristics passes from one generation to the next. Boundaries: something that indicates bounds or limits, a limiting or bounding line.
1 Corinthians 5:1-13 summary; sexual imorality should be cast to the Devil for the destruction of the flesh in the name of Jesus Christ. (3) "For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed." (11)"But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extorotioner - not even to eat with such a person."
(12)"For what have I to do with judging those also who are outseide? Do you not judge those who are inside?" (13)"But those who are outside God judges. Therefore put away from yourselves the evil person."
We have the duty to take care of who we have around us and our children. We must be careful who we follow. Rid ourselves of anyone that doesn't walk with God.
Visitors: Annie and Joe, Beth, Teresa, Edna, Dee, Kelly. Also Doug; BJ and Roland's son, Andrew@Tony and Christy's.

James Davis puts a smile on Pastor David Kimbrow's Face. James is a treasure.
James Davis is On Fire For the Lord!
by Dot Behr
Getting right with the Lord seems to be the topic lately. Even if you are a Christian.
Bro. James started out with how people use the expression "Disasters of Biblical Porportions" used in the news.
He stated; "We need revivals of Biblical Porportions" right now to pull in the lost and get without a doubt sure we're ready to go when the Lord comes.
I thought this fit right in there with David's sermon regarding the 98%ers getting busy.
Time is our best friend. There is another expression he wanted to point out..."Just Killin Time". Are we killin the precious time that God has given us here on Earth?
We don't know how much time we have here. No one knows when it will be the time. We often talk about the fun times we had out in the world, but all that "fun" could never even hold a candle to the Joy we find in the Holy Spirit. Every Christian has regrets from thier past, don't let them hold you back or bring you down. Forgive yourself, God has. Don't let anyone or anything stand between you and God or the way you praise him.
Our visitors: Frank May came with Lesa's parents; Bradley & Candice, Lindsay and Sherri Lewis from Stephenville ( Lindsay sang a beautiful version of; House of the R ising Son), Cindy who lives in Rock Harbour and needs a ride (came with Debbie and Robert) Larry & Karin have been comming for a while, it was good to see them. Harley's family Melissa,Bruce and Christina. I have a count of 62 visitors since the U-Turn guys were here. Wow!

A Note from a true believer; Susan above...to her future husband; Deebo...
Honey,
Today at church I was ashamed of myself. I had my bright new shiney Bible with me...not a spot on it. The cover without a scratch or blemish. The Lady two rows in front of me had a well worn Bible with the pages bent, dogeared, stains on the pages, a cloth cover on the Bible...highlighted pages with notes in the margin. I was ashamed because mine had not been used...read...had no tear stains on the page. Hers was like a badge of honor for the hard times and the good times I am sure she had through her life...I am going to strive for our Bibles to we worn like hers from years of Love...pain...time and praise for our Lord...Love Susan...

John and Erin Parish rode all the way from Whitney to visit. They are CMA and heard about us from the Biker Bash card. Very nice couple that said they would diffinatly be back. James Davis will be speaking Tue. nite. Don't forget Pot Luck.
David spoke about the 2%ers or rather the 98%. What's wrong with the 98% on Christians that don't witness for the Lord. David stated that witnessing is probably the FIRST thing a new Christian should be doing, so, what is the other 98% doing? If you are a Christian you have the DUTY to go out and witness for the Lord.
Matt. 28
2Peter 3:9.
He also spoke about "ARE YOU READY RIGHT NOW" if the Lord came? In my opinion...THIS IS THE MOST SERIOUS QUESTION OUT THERE TODAY!
God Bless

The Ferguson Prison visit
by Dot Behr
We were a group of 11 on this visit. David, Lesa, Darrin, Smiley, Randall, Peggy, Ray, (Rene didn't go in) Mark, Steve and Me. It was not what I expected at all. We had 3 services, one block was still in lockdown. It just wasn't as big as I imagined.
I didn't know that only a few came at a time. There were about 25-30 in the first group. About 50 in the second and about 150 in the last. There were alot of christ-ian guys in there and little boys. These men and boys rocked the house with thier theme song "Get thee behind me Satan". We had two inmates join the praise team with drums and one get down bass player. Tony spoke at the first two services and Ray spoke at the last. Both speakers spoke from the heart as well as from experi-ence. Tony talked about having God not only as your Savior, but also the Lord of your life. Ray talked about getting right with God and not worring about what the dude nest to you thought. I saw Ray as I've never seen him. The quiet man transformed into a bolt of lightening. David spoke in between songs. In all, what a blessing to go there.

Sunday 20 September 2009 services were conducted on the WFC Grounds; David asked for testimony and several folks came forward and reported the good works they were doing for the Church and the Good works that God was doing in their lives David gave a report on meetings with Mike St. Clair on the building fund and the land purchase. David is to meet with the county on getting the area rezoned so that the building can be built. He reported that WFC will have to purchase the part of the land where the church will be built at a price of around $25,000; St. Clair owes $58,000 on the land. The church is to be a building built at cost by Mike St. Clair but as far as utilities the cost will prohibit putting in the plumbing for the time-being. David though was adament about getting up a building before cold weather sets in. Dot Behr reported that more women were needed to help minister in the Hood County Jail Ministry. The Messenger came forward and asked for participation in the website and an upcoming Newsletter. The alter call was once again fairly packed; God Work at WFC. Members met at the Cotton-Patch restuarant for lunch. David and Bruce taught us all how to act at a prison meal; 'You going to eat that...?' Bruce had 'mud fish' no one wanted to know if he had left overs...
WFC riders treked to Stephenville at 5:30 pm to attend the 1st Assembly of God's Men's Only Meeting. The 1st Assembly Men cooked a fine breakfast meal and provided music for the group and then David gave his personal life changing testimony. He was joined at the end of the night by men giving their lives to Christ and those who sought release from curse of cigarettes. It was great weather for the ride home and everyone enjoyed the evening.
DAY OF UNITY on the 19th at Decatur Texas
David and WFC Membership went to Decatur to the Unchained Prison Ministry's DAY OF UNITY Sat. the 19th. They left WFC at around 10 am. The group enjoyed Christian bands throughout the day, food vendors, games, etc. It was held at Joe Wheeler Park, on HWY 51, in Decatur. Contact info: 940-577-6014
Sunday September 13th
Heavy Rain-fall through-out the week forced WFC to cancel our services on the WFC Grounds for Sunday. David Kimbrow reported the grounds were so saturated with rain that it made parking impossible in the grass surrounding the current site.
Church members who could be notified on a short notice basis attended the Church of God. WFC was represented by a half-dozen members or so and fellow bikers from other Motorcycle Chapters.

Week ending 7 September 2009 Labor Day Weekend
|
Source: star-telegram.com Texas - "Outlaw bikers have Sturgis; Christian bikers have Granbury."
That's the logo printed on the T-shirt sold year-round at the Granbury Convention and Visitors Bureau, comparing the famous and rowdy secular motorcycle rally held in South Dakota each year with the Christian event scheduled in this small Texas town. Still, Labor Day weekend will be anything but quiet at the Warriors for Christ Biker Bash Texas, which organizers say will draw at least 15,000 bikers. The biker bash will be today through Monday on the square with bands, sky diving, tightrope walking, bike blessings and church services. Hells Angels probably won't crash the party, and there are no wet T-shirt contests or alcohol, event organizer Lesa Kimbrow said. "The rally is different from secular events. You can bring the whole family and not get offended," she said. People are coming from as far away as Missouri and Florida for the rally, she added. "I'm getting 20 calls a minute," she said. Many churches have biker groups, and riding Harley-Davidsons is a favorite pastime for many Christians, Kimbrow said. "There is a big shift in the biker community. The outlaws are now in the minority," she said. Kimbrow and her husband, David, moved to Granbury about six years ago and started the Warriors for Christ motorcycle ministry, which includes an outreach ministry to inmates. About six months ago, the Kimbrows started Warriors for Christ Biker Fellowship Church. The congregation of over 200 quickly outgrew the building it leased for worship services and now meets in a large tent bought for $600, Lesa Kimbrow said. Warriors for Christ is raising money for a permanent building, she said. For seven years, Granbury has been the hub for the Christian biker rally Thunder Over Texas, sponsored by Jerry Savelle Ministries. That rally will be in Australia this year, called Thunder Down Under. "When people heard Thunder Over Texas was not going to be held in Granbury, people said, 'You're kidding,'?" Kimbrow said. Carolyn Kagy, marketing manager for the Granbury visitors bureau, said the hotels are mostly booked for the three-day bash. The motorcycle rally is Granbury's second-largest event, surpassed only by the July Fourth parade and fireworks on the lake, which attracts around 50,000 people, she said. Charlie McIlvain, executive director of the visitors bureau, said last year's Thunder Over Texas brought in $3 million to $4 million. He said he doesn't have an estimate for this year's event. |
